Guy Fawkes Day is on Sunday 5 November 2017.
Fireworks are only on sale for three days from Tuesday 2 to Saturday 4 November leading up to Guy Fawkes Day in New Zealand. There are no rules about when during the year you can set fireworks off, however there are some rules about where. It is best to only light fireworks on your own property, far away from anything that could catch fire. You should also show respect to your neighbours, especially those with young children or pets.

The annual 2017 Monster Fireworks Display promises to be yet another fantastic family night of spectacular fireworks. This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the event, and of the Taupaki School-York family relationship Presented by Bad Boy Fireworks. The display has become a wonderful community event for all ages. Opening Night Fire Works Extravaganza at Western Springs Speedway

Western Springs Speedway Opening Night is the first opportunity for the fans to get a good look at each competitor and their brand new cars for the season. At the end of the night the lights will be turned down for the fireworks display.
Children under 5 are FREE; One child under 14 and one adult $26; Etra Child (5 to 14 years) $5, Family pass (2 adults and 2 children) $52.
